Artist's Comments

A nod to the advertising, colors, and questions of toxicity in household chemicals. I think these things are beautiful, but the way they take my breath is in not related to that beauty. Had a hell of a time coming up with a keyword for this submission, too.

Ingredients:
High Odor Poly Vinyl Acetate
Terry Cloth
Wooden Barstool
Olympus Digital Camera with delay switch

That's insane, rather well captured though!

Hey, wow! I just posted this, too!
Thanks for the comment. I thought about it also being a tip to boredom, but that's a common thing to say--even for me. I'd rather also say that it's a tip o' the hat to my diverse group of friends who've probably wondered why I haven't updated in a while.

Those the things that come in a tub, and a straw and you blow them up?

I'm so skilled with words at 12am... forgive me.

That's them, Kariana! It's like I said in my comments--they take my breath away....

Wow--abstract sculpture that captures the uncapturable. How sublime (OK, I'll get off the postmodern aethetic theory kick!) At first, I th ought those were the glass floats that traditional fishermen used to use, then I got a closer look.
Talk about art being ephemeral! What a nice piece of abstract sculpture!

I inspired a comment like that? I'm feeling quite jocund now! It's put me in an empyrean mood--just in time for those geology and chemistry tests that are coming back-to-back tonight!

Thanks, Cathy! It's really made my day, and made exams that much more bearable. Let me know if I can do the same for you (somehow).

I have to say that this is one of the more INTRIGUING deviant arts I've seen! If I were to see those in real life, I would wonder "should we run or hide?"

I suppose it does look as if someone slipped up and fed some Mogwai after midnight....
